Wanaka
is a fantastic New Zealand skiing destination with 4 ski resorts
catering to skiers, snowboarders, cross-country and nordic skiers.
Most skiers and snowboarders commute daily to the slopes from nearby
Wanaka - this allows you to enjoy a morning on the slopes and a
round of golf in the afternoon. Additionally both Cardrona Resort
and the Snowfarm provide onsite accommodation.
Cardrona Alpine Resort
This high altitude ski resort has dry natural snow and is known
as a total family resort. Wide open slopes provide good terrain
for all abilities, along with a a range of pipes and terrain park
features.

Treble Cone
The largest skifield on the South Island with incredible
views and some of the longest runs in New Zealand. With lots of
the terrain for accomplished skiers and snowboarders, and the lack
of crowds, this the skifield of choice for the locals.

Snow Park
An extensive terrain park for snowboarders and skiers featuring
a Super pipe, rails, jumps and boarder cross and slope style. The
Superpipe, cut to World Cup standards, is the central feature of
the park providing endless hours of riding pleasure. From first
time park riders to the most advanced, the Snow Park offers something
for everyone.
Terrain and facilities: Approximately 40 rails and
boxes of varying sizes, 10-25 rollers, hits and jumps, snow skate
area, Super Pipe, Beginner pipe, Quarter Pipe and Camp Pipe, wall
rides, fixed quad chairlift
Season: Early July - late September
Snowfarm
A Nordic skifield with 55 kilometres of international standard cross
country trails to explore and an action pack competition calendar.
Trails have been designed for all levels of Cross Country skiers.
The trails wind through the Meg River Valley with views of the Southern
Alps and Mount Aspiring.
Terrain: 55km of groomed and fenced cross country trails
